Just to introduce myself.

I live in Canberra and am a member of Orange Model Engineers, which is 300kms away but a  5" gauge club running scale rolling stock with a very heavy emphasis on New South Wales prototypes.

My current project is a 5" gauge Britannia, it will be 'Boadicea' when I complete it. I was given a part set of Wilwau castings by a friend. Luckily the missing bits are components that can be fabricated but the vital bits such as wheels, chimney, dome are intact ..luckily Rolling Eyes I'm working to a set of Spink's drawings.

I have had the boiler design approved by our club inspector and hope the start on the plate work in the next few weeks.

My last major project was a 3" scale Burrell single crank compound traction engine.

This site looks great, nicely set out and with a bright future.

All the best

Jim
