Hi James,
No but I have heard of successful use of these control units. All my stuff is 4QD.

Hi James,
Good luck. I cannot help as I have never bought a five gauge locomotive.

You could try Maxitrak website/forum/electronic controllers as there are comments here.

What happened to the other two locos you have? Do they need fixing such as 4QD control and new motor ?

Have you seen Motion control who are selling off  75PS994 G71B5 DA19  a low voltage, high power traction motor. 2.8 Nm, 24V 1450 RPM@£79 ? I was after some of those motors myself but beaten by postage or having to get to Bournemouth.

I am involved with a Britannia based in North London albeit remotely. I have made the rolling road shoes for it. There will either be a sudden flurry of activity within the next 48 hours or there will be an alternative arrangement to get those shoes from here to north London.

At the moment I am stuck with hospitalisation as from Tuesday but on the run up to Christmas I might be in Britain with a car. This could mean a terrible risk and a return problem. It depends on how mad and able you are to be in a given place at a given time for a RDV.

I've dealt with Parkside and they are a friendly bunch.   A friend has one of their 24v controllers and it works fine,
