Lio contacted me via private message and we have been exchanging information. Lio does not speak English so I have asked him if I can put these photographs on the forum.
The kit is enspired by the Billard design. Generally the frames are laser cut and 5 mm steel sheet. The complete locomotive kit can be seen on the Mecasteam site http://mecasteam.free.fr/and by clicking on other locotracteur pages.
It looks to be a tough job easily capable of taking a derailment. The locomotive is rated at 600Watts but with only one battery I suspect the power limit will be determined by the battery and if not wheel slip. The speed is reckoned at 8 kmph.

G'day Ron,
I think you need a space before the 'and' in the link to Mecasteam: http://mecasteam.free.fr/
The loco certainly looks to be capable and robust. Lio is making nice progress on his loco and is fortunate to have your assistance.
